Welcome to Ireland’s Noise Summmit
2026

Trinity College Dublin (TCD), University College Dublin (UCD) and the University of Galway, in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Noise 2050 Research Project, are pleased to invite you to the I Noise Summit Ireland – Environmental Noise and Health, the first national conference in Ireland fully dedicated to environmental noise management, monitoring and mitigation.

The summit provides a high-level platform for dialogue between public authorities, researchers, policymakers, infrastructure bodies, consultants and industry stakeholders involved in transport, urban planning, environmental protection and public health.

The event will address the current state of environmental noise in Ireland, regulatory frameworks, monitoring strategies, noise mapping, exposure assessment and evidence-based mitigation solutions for road, rail, aviation noise and emerging sources. Through expert presentations, panel discussions and interactive breakout sessions, the summit aims to foster knowledge exchange, support informed decision-making and promote integrated approaches to noise management.

By bringing together national and international expertise, the I Noise Summit Ireland seeks to strengthen cooperation between sectors and contribute to the development of effective policies and practical solutions for quieter, healthier and more resilient communities.

Be part of the first Noise Summit Ireland and contribute to shaping Ireland’s future noise environment.
